Models Confirm Big Snows in Southern & Eastern Indiana

Okay....here is the latest for our viewing area.....I like 1 to 2 inches in our far northwest.....2 to 4 inches for most of the heart of the area including Lafayette.....and 4 to 6 inches in our far southern and eastern areas including Kokomo and Frankfort. If you are traveling from Marion to Indianapolis to Evansville and points south and east 6 or more inches of snow is likely....A WINTER STORM WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED...this includes Howard County...

I will check in with you and try to post a map shortly along with a snow timeline.

Stop giving Mike a hard time. I dont see you trying to predict how much snow we get. At least we know that there is a storm coming and that you better be prepared because this is Indiana and we all know that the weather changes in matters of hours. So be thankful for Mike.

Hmmmmmmmm Scotty, perhaps you should you should go to school and become a meteorlogist, you are so quick to complain. lets see how well you do at predicting what mother nature is going to do, all machines and computers can only give us an idea, nothing in life is for certin.

Scotty, Mike has made his prediction. You make yours and we'll see who is closer. Thanks Mike. Love your blog. Keep it coming.

Yep, don't listen to the naysayers. Thanks for the infomation you can give us Mike. I agree with one of the other posters, at least we know a storm is coming and we can prepare. I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Scotty, it appears that you are not a happy person, cant you post your complaints somewhere else? it appears that you like to argue, however everyone is on Mikes side! When the spring storms hit are you going to ingore the warnings , of lightning and possiable tornados. or are you going to trust Mike. hope for your sake you will trust Mike, now i am done reading your comments and refuse to respond agin for i went to a low level to do so.

So, Lafayette WILL get less than 3 inches and the heaviest band of snow WILL be southeast of Indianapolis through Columbus, Muncie, etc...mark my word!! Thanks bye

Like my mother taught me Mr. Scotty "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all...that includes blogging!!!!

Anxiously awaiting your timeline Mike! I am glad that TSC kids get home early tomorrow, I hope before the snow hits. This weather reminds me of the winter of 2002-2003 (I think?) in central NJ, we had about 17 storms that year, the last big one with over 30 inches in 36 hours!! I will take snow over tornadoes any day.

The poster above obviously did not read the comment with vulgar language that Scotty left earlier, that is now modified. Thanks Mike for doing a great job!

To Russ, did you read Scotty's comment before it was removed from the blog? He used foul language, was very insulting! That is one of the reasons that all will not lay off of Scotty, yes he has right to his opinion, however the downgrading foul language should have been left out of this blog.

This will be a winter my children will always remember, We have had fun with a vido cam, we received as a christmas gift and was able to transfer to dvd. Will have real live videos to watch of the winter of 2007-2008. how fun to watch our dogs play, mom trying to get her car out of the drive, my kids falling on their rumps! making snow angles in the snow. We have somthing to treasure.

Please lay off Mike. I have met in person, cause he hosted by daughters pagent in Camden (in which she won) and he is the nicest guy you could ever meet. He trys he best and I think its bad when you have to cuss when there are kids that probably look at this too. Please be kind.
