This by no means will be a big snowstorm. But it will be just enough to cause big problems on the roadways. Please go slow and be safe. Latest model data in here at high noon confirms one to two inches of snow is on the way with ice accumulations of freezing rain up to a tenth of an inch possible. There may be a couple spots in the northern tier of our area that remain all snow. These areas could see closer to 2 to 3 inches of snow and they include areas of Newton, Jasper, Pulaski, and Fulton Counties. Temperatures will barely make it into the middle 20s before falling back to near 20 by morning. Wind should not be a big issue with wind speeds less than 10 mph. A winter weather advisory is officially in effect for most of our viewing area through 7 a.m. on Wednesday.
