Second Round of T-Storms Will Bring Small Hail, Gusty Winds & Heavy Downpours
Precision 18 is showing the worst of the thunderstorm activity moving into Lake County. Heavy downpours, lightning, and nickel size hail can be expected. Here in Lafayette we are still on track for a few thunderstorms after 9 p.m. I would not be surprised of a few reports of small pea-sized hail along with some heavy downpours. Isolated high wind gusts cannot be ruled out. Everything is on target so far. Let's keep it that way.

The temperature dropped a few degrees, will this help us? Is the system weakening a bit as it approaches? Hard to tell what to expect simply from the Doppler itself. I hope so!! Will let you know how it goes here out on 900East, it often seems it is completely different than on the West side! Thank you so much for the continued updates. It is nice to live in such friendly community.
