That is right...I am Mike Prangley and I approve this forecast! We have outstanding weather the next couple of days, including election day. This is not a commercial but the real thing! Temperatures will start out just right as the polls open at 6 a.m. and by 9 a.m. temperatures will already be pushing 70 degrees on our way to a high in the lower 80s. We may even have back to back 80 degree days. But tune in tonight and I will tell you why we will go from good dog-walking weather to raining cats and dogs by Wednesday and especially Thursday. May after all is usually our wettest month. Have a great day and I will see you soon.
New at 11 p.m.
There will be a minor meteor shower tonight. The weather should be mostly clear and we will be in a new moon phase. This is great news. It will allow us to see the shooting stars much better. Look to the east and northeast and you should see about 5 to 10 shooting stars per hour mainly between 3 a.m. and dawn. Set those alarms a little early and check it out. It is hard to believe those big streaks of light in the sky are caused by particles the size of sand that burn up due to friction as they enter the earth's atmosphere.
More blog updates on the way!

Wow 3am is a little late...or early depending on how you look at it. Hate to miss the shower though. :(
I will have to force myself to stay up late for the 11 news to hear about your tornado season good news. :)
I am hoping that we will not have too much rain that flooding will be a concern? So far I have not heard that word uttered - so I assume, as it stands, we are OK (since the Wabash is pretty low right now).
I will enjoy the beautiful weather today - it is hard not to feel good when the weather is this nice.
Thank you for the interesting blog!
